The demand for competent and experience-based advice in the field of quality infrastructure has increased continuously in recent years. PTB International Cooperation has developed numerous formats that address very different target groups. We are pleased to make this offer accessible. Our aim is to impart knowledge about quality infrastructure and to improve the corresponding services in such a way that they are competitive, support the economy and promote trade. The guide vol.1 addresses conceptual aspects of public lighting, starting from the idealization of projects, through feasibility issues, energy efficiency, supply of products and services, to the final delivery to the community. The objective of this guide is to promote good practices in public lighting, with regard to the modernization of LED technology.
The guide vol. 2 (divided into two volumes) deals with public lighting modernization projects, including the steps and requirements necessary for the elaboration of a consistent project; from conception to delivery of the work, always taking an energy efficiency perspective. Additionally, basic concepts for economic and financial analysis and the feasibility of the project are covered as well as tips on how to verify that the project was executed adequately.
The publication presents the project targeting the water sector in line with the objectives of the Jordanian government and the German cooperation efforts in the sector. The project will provide the institutions of the Jordanian water sector, the Ministry of Water and Irrigation (MWI), the Water Authority of Jordan (WAJ), and water utilities with new Quality Infrastructure services. The aim is to develop new services of the QI institutions as well as improve cooperation between the selected water utilities and QI institutions.
