The demand for competent and experience-based advice in the field of quality infrastructure has increased continuously in recent years. PTB International Cooperation has developed numerous formats that address very different target groups. We are pleased to make this offer accessible. Our aim is to impart knowledge about quality infrastructure and to improve the corresponding services in such a way that they are competitive, support the economy and promote trade. The document presents "Caburek", a flexible tool to strengthen national capabilities of Technical and Scientific Organizations. The basic concept of this tool is that exchanging regional knowledge and experience makes it easier to solve challenges countries encounter at a national level. The tool proposes and encourages a joint working method that allows each participating institution to make progress towards solving any of their national issues, with the support of a range of resources.

Calidena Toolbox Support material for the Calidena Handbook 2.0

The toolbox is a complement to the Calidena Handbook 2.01 and is based on practical experience of using the methodology in various countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia, and Africa. Calidena is a methodology developed by PTB to stimulate quality in value chains. All tools are presented according to the different phases of a project. The toolbox was created for people in charge of programs and projects aimed at developing value chains or Quality Infrastructure, as well as facilitators of Calidena processes.

The publication presents a short overview of the Calidena methodology. Calidena was developed by PTB to stimulate quality in value chains.
