The demand for competent and experience-based advice in the field of quality infrastructure has increased continuously in recent years. PTB International Cooperation has developed numerous formats that address very different target groups. We are pleased to make this offer accessible. Our aim is to impart knowledge about quality infrastructure and to improve the corresponding services in such a way that they are competitive, support the economy and promote trade. Tunisia's growing economic ties to the EU are increasing the quality requirements for export products. However, a functioning national metrology system for reliable metrology services is lacking, leading to dependence on expensive foreign services. The project goal is to establish an efficient metrology system to cost-effectively cover the needs of industry in Tunisia for quality services and skilled workers.
The local availability of metrology and calibration services provided in accordance with international best practices and the demand in Bosnia and Herzegovina is to be improved. In addition, efforts are being made to improve the national quality infrastructure system through a coordination mechanism that is documented in the form of a strategic document or a sectoral approach.
The project "Metrology-Enabling Developing Economies in Asia: Promoting Regional Cooperation" (MEDEA) was launched in cooperation with the Asia-Pacific Legal Metrology Forum (APLMF) and the Asia Pacific Metrology Programme (APMP) to promote cooperation and capacity building in the field of metrology in developing Asian countries. The aim is to support the development of these countries by strengthening their metrology capacities.
The project supports quality infrastructure institutions in providing renewable energy and energy efficiency services in accordance with the national energy policy. This includes different fields of action such as quality assurance of photovoltaic installations, metrological support for energy quality determination and the establishment of a specialized unit in the Centro Nacional de Metrología (CENAM).
The project aims to improve the quality infrastructure (QI) in Mongolia's mining sector to meet international occupational health and safety requirements.
