We are pleased to make this offer accessible. Our aim is to impart knowledge about quality infrastructure and to improve the corresponding services in such a way that they are competitive, support the economy and promote trade. The objective on outcome-level was: The National Office for Metrology and Standardization (ONANOR) provides fee-based, market-oriented quality infrastructure (QI) services for the mining and fisheries sectors. At the impact level, the objective was: The sustainability of selected economic sectors in Mauritania is improved. To this end, the National Metrology Laboratory was to be enabled to offer fee-based calibration services. For small-scale mining and traditional fisheries, gender- and environment-sensitive standards were to be developed, and information campaigns were to increase demand for QI services. The project was extended by four months at no additional cost.

Strengthening Quality Infrastructure for Water Monitoring of the Ganga River III

This project, which was implemented in cooperation with Indian authorities, strengthens the quality infrastructure for water monitoring along the Ganges River in Delhi, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh. By supporting laboratories and regulatory bodies, the initiative ensures that water quality data are accurate, reliable, and legally valid. It enhances technical capacity for sampling, analysis, and reporting, thereby enabling better environmental decision-making, enforcement of regulations, and public accountability. The project contributes to national efforts to rejuvenate the Ganges under the Namami Gange Programme and supports global Sustainable Development Goals, particularly on water quality and sustainable urban environments.

Quality Standards for Increased Trade in the Eastern Partnership Countries II

The objective at the outcome level was to encourage private and public actors to make greater use of quality infrastructure services in the areas of environmental monitoring and the sustainable use of natural resources. At the impact level, the goal was to contribute to forest conservation, biodiversity, and climate protection. This was achieved through new services for monitoring environmental quality standards and emission limits, and by strengthening the capacities of INACAL and the Ministry of the Environment.
