The demand for competent and experience-based advice in the field of quality infrastructure has increased continuously in recent years. PTB International Cooperation has developed numerous formats that address very different target groups. We are pleased to make this offer accessible. Our aim is to impart knowledge about quality infrastructure and to improve the corresponding services in such a way that they are competitive, support the economy and promote trade. The project objective is to strengthen the quality infrastructure for drinking water analysis and consumption measurement in Bolivia. This addresses the challenges of unclear responsibilities, resource scarcity and infrastructural weaknesses to enable the effective governmental regulation of the water supply and monitoring.
The aim of the project is to establish a regional metrology system that functions on the basis of a division of labour. Essential activities in this context are the creation of a ten-year strategy for the development of a regional metrology system, a specialized regional network for metrology, a regional legal framework for the harmonization of metrological services and the strengthening of the technical capacities of the laboratories in the CEMAC countries.
The project aims to support the East African Community (EAC) in implementing its regional action plan. The action plan aims to improve the pharmaceutical industry by providing technical and human resource support to regulators and control laboratories to protect the market from substandard products.
The goal of the project is a coordinated and demand-oriented development of metrology services in the ECOWAS region, favouring a division of labour between national metrology systems. The project's approach consists of shared learning, mutual assistance in quality infrastructure (QI) development, the harmonization of relevant QI aspects and the development of cross-border metrology services.
The project aims to establish a demand-oriented and regionally harmonized quality infrastructure in the Caribbean using a three-part approach: 1. improvement of the knowledge of the Caribbean QI institutions about the demand for services in the region, 2. strengthening the competence of QI institutions at the national and regional level and 3. strengthening of the capability of QI networks and bodies to coordinate services on a regional level.
