The demand for competent and experience-based advice in the field of quality infrastructure has increased continuously in recent years. PTB International Cooperation has developed numerous formats that address very different target groups. We are pleased to make this offer accessible. Our aim is to impart knowledge about quality infrastructure and to improve the corresponding services in such a way that they are competitive, support the economy and promote trade. The project objective is to strengthen the national quality infrastructure and thus be able to offer services that contribute to the reliability of consumption measurements and quality analyses for drinking water and wastewater. Three outputs are defined: 1. Laboratories and the national metrology laboratory improve their measurement capabilities, 2. The accreditation body strengthens its capacities, 3. Wastewater standards are developed.

The objective of the project is to enable ASEAN Member States to gear trade-relevant procedures of quality infrastructure (QI) to regional guidelines and international good practices. A special emphasis is put on food safety in Cambodia, Lao PDR and Myanmar.
