The project goal was to strenghten the Quality assurance (QI) of photovoltaic systems in line with international best practice. To achieve this goal, the project defined three outputs: (1) to strenghten institutions providing quality assurance, (2) to inform key decision makers and (3) to train practitioners to increase their awareness about quality and quality assurance services.

The project objective includes the increasing utilisation of the range of quality assurance services based on international good practices by small and medium-sized enterprises from the project region.  This is to be achieved by (1) strengthening the quality infrastructure at national level, (2) improving the capacities of the testing laboratories in the provinces and (3) qualifying SMEs for certification.
